Harmless and fun, this is a good read. Kelly Hunter is a lovely, smooth writer and her prose flows. It is easy to read and the characters, while predictable, were well fleshed out and fun. The switching between the two female protagonists was a clever artifice - a kind of revolving first person feast. I enjoyed it. A flummery of a book - light and entertaining. Thanks NetGalley for the opportunity to read and enjoy this one. I don't read a lot of romance, but this was a fun way to while away an afternoon by the pool.
